About SAii Lagoon / Hard Rock
SAii Lagoon Maldives and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives share the Emboodhoo Lagoon development in South Malé Atoll, about 15 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. We come to you by boat from our base. The two resorts flank The Marina at CROSSROADS, a pedestrian waterfront of restaurants and shops, and both offer beach rooms and overwater villas on a broad lagoon. It is the most urban, lifestyle-led setting in the Maldives, and a good fit for families, groups, and couples who want variety beyond the beach.
Shooting at your resort
We arrive at SAii Lagoon / Hard Rock by boat or seaplane transfer and shoot on your resort island: beach, jetty, villa deck or a nearby sandbank.
Golden hour, roughly 5:30 to 6:30pm, is when Emboodhoo Lagoon's beaches glow. We schedule every shoot around it.
Where a resort requires photography or drone permissions, we handle the arrangements before your session.

Resorts set their own photographer and drone policies. We clear access with the resort before your session, and where drones are not permitted on the island we shoot aerials from a nearby sandbank by boat.
A short boat ride from Malé, so sunrise or sunset sessions are easy, and we can combine both resorts and the marina in one shoot.
