About Meeru Island Resort
Meeru Island Resort & Spa is on Meerufenfushi at the eastern edge of North Malé Atoll, about 50–55 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport — we come to you by boat from our base. It is one of the largest resort islands near Malé, with a long beach running the length of the island, a wide lagoon, beach villas, and a separate strip of overwater villas. Meeru is a long-standing favourite for weddings, vow renewals, and families, and its size gives us plenty of quiet beach to work with.
