About Angsana Ihuru
Angsana Ihuru is Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru's sister island in North Malé Atoll, about 25 minutes from Velana International Airport by speedboat — we reach it by boat from our base. Tiny and beautifully kept, it is famous for one of the best house reefs near Malé, with coral just metres off a beach that circles the entire island. Villas are beachfront, low, and thatched, with palms leaning over the sand. Its intimacy suits couples and small families who want quiet beaches and easy reef access.
Shooting at your resort
We arrive at Angsana Ihuru by boat or seaplane transfer and shoot on your resort island — beach, jetty, villa deck, or a nearby sandbank.
Golden hour — roughly 5:30 to 6:30pm — is when Ihuru's beaches glow. We schedule every shoot around it.
Where a resort requires photography or drone permissions, we handle the arrangements before your session.
