About Huvafen Fushi
Huvafen Fushi is a small, adults-oriented island on Nakatchafushi in North Malé Atoll, about 30 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. We reach it by boat from our base. It is known for its sleek, contemporary villas with private pools, overwater bungalows that step into a broad, pale lagoon, and a long sandy tip that narrows into the shallows. The island is intimate, which means quiet beaches and uncluttered backgrounds, ideal for couple, honeymoon, and anniversary sessions.
Shooting at your resort
We arrive at Huvafen Fushi by boat or seaplane transfer and shoot on your resort island: beach, jetty, villa deck or a nearby sandbank.
Golden hour, roughly 5:30 to 6:30pm, is when Nakatchafushi's beaches glow. We schedule every shoot around it.
Where a resort requires photography or drone permissions, we handle the arrangements before your session.

Resorts set their own photographer and drone policies. We clear access with the resort before your session, and where drones are not permitted on the island we shoot aerials from a nearby sandbank by boat.
Half an hour by speedboat from Malé; we usually arrive early afternoon for a sunset session, or the evening before for a sunrise one.
