About Gili Lankanfushi
Gili Lankanfushi is a twenty-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, on Lankanfushi in North Malé Atoll. The resort is built almost entirely over water — villas linked by long, weathered timber walkways, a no-shoes policy, and some of the largest overwater residences in the Maldives. Natural materials dominate: driftwood, thatch, and bleached decking against a jade lagoon. It is one of the most photogenic properties near Malé, and the short boat transfer makes it easy for us to reach on the day.
Shooting at your resort
We arrive at Gili Lankanfushi by boat or seaplane transfer and shoot on your resort island — beach, jetty, villa deck, or a nearby sandbank.
Golden hour — roughly 5:30 to 6:30pm — is when Lankanfushi's beaches glow. We schedule every shoot around it.
Where a resort requires photography or drone permissions, we handle the arrangements before your session.

Close enough to Malé for a single golden-hour session; we come by speedboat and can be on the island within the hour, so early-evening slots are easy to arrange.
