Professional photography on Thoddoo, Alifu Alifu Atoll: honeymoon and couples sessions, proposals, families and drone aerials, photographed by locals who know the island's best light.

About Thoddoo
Thoddoo is the Maldives' garden island: a lone, unusually large island north of the Ari Atoll rim, about 67 km from Male, where much of the country's papaya and watermelon is grown. Farming plots and palm groves fill its interior while a long white beach lines its west side, giving it a green, rural character rare in the archipelago. With around 35 guesthouses it is well set up for visitors without losing its agricultural rhythm.

What we shoot on Thoddoo

Practical notes for Thoddoo
Swimwear belongs only on the designated western Bikini Beach; in the village and on the farm tracks, dress modestly.
The direct public ferry from Male is an overnight one (departing 23:45 daily except Friday, about 5 hours, roughly USD 10), while a cheaper daytime routing runs via Rasdhoo on Mondays and Thursdays. Scheduled speedboats take about 75-90 minutes for around USD 50.
Maldives-wide MCAA permit rules plus island council permission apply; the farmland interior is private working land, so ask before shooting there even on foot.
