About Dhangethi

Dhangethi is a lived-in village island in south-eastern South Ari Atoll, 87 km from Male — about 925 by 250 metres with a community of around 1,200 people. It pairs everyday Maldivian life, from its cultural centre and old mosque to cafes and street-corner conversations, with a house reef snorkelled straight from shore and quick boat access to the atoll's famous whale shark and manta grounds.
