About W Maldives
W Maldives sits on Fesdu in North Ari Atoll, about 25 minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport — we reach it by seaplane or by boat from Ari. It is a compact, lively island with a strong house reef, beach villas with pools, overwater villas along the lagoon edge, and a bold, contemporary design. A private sandbank nearby is used for dinners and excursions. The energy is social rather than hushed, and the island suits couples who want bright, playful, modern frames.
Shooting at your resort
We arrive at W Maldives by boat or seaplane transfer and shoot on your resort island — beach, jetty, villa deck, or a nearby sandbank.
Golden hour — roughly 5:30 to 6:30pm — is when Fesdu's beaches glow. We schedule every shoot around it.
Where a resort requires photography or drone permissions, we handle the arrangements before your session.

Practical notes for W Maldives
Resorts set their own photographer and drone policies — we clear access with the resort before your session, and where drones are not permitted on the island we shoot aerials from a nearby sandbank by boat.
Daylight seaplane transfers mean we are usually on the island before your session; sandbank visits are by boat and depend on tide and resort scheduling.
