Professional photography on Nilandhoo, Faafu Atoll: honeymoon and couples sessions, proposals, families and drone aerials, photographed by locals who know the island's best light.

About Nilandhoo
Nilandhoo is the capital of Faafu Atoll, a village of about 1,800 people roughly 142 km south-west of Malé, and one of the most historically significant islands in the country. Its Aasaari Miskiy, a coral-stone mosque built in the 12th century soon after the Maldives' conversion to Islam, stands on the site of a pre-Islamic temple complex excavated by Thor Heyerdahl in the 1980s. The island also has a designated bikini beach, a lively harbour and reefs on the atoll's western rim, and is reachable by flight via Maamigili or by speedboat.
