on Muli
Professional photography on Muli, Meemu Atoll — honeymoon and couples sessions, proposals, families, and drone aerials, photographed by locals who know the island's best light.

About Muli
Muli is the capital of Meemu Atoll, a compact island of about 950 people roughly 139 km south of Malé with its own small domestic airport. It sits on the atoll's eastern rim facing the open ocean, which brings surf to the nearby outer reefs in season and gives its eastern shore big skies and waves, while the lagoon side stays calm. Meemu is off the main tourist circuit, so Muli's guesthouses and harbour feel unhurried, and boats reach sandbanks, reefs and the atoll's surf breaks within minutes.

Practical notes for Muli
Domestic flights serve Muli Airport from Malé; scheduled speedboats cost about USD 50 and take a few hours.
Meemu's outer-reef breaks work roughly March to October on the south-west swell; the dry season of December to April is calmest for beach work.
Swimwear only on the designated tourist beach; modest dress elsewhere. Drones need national permits and are restricted near the airstrip.

It depends on the beach: swimwear is only allowed on designated tourist beaches on inhabited islands. We confirm Muli's rules before your shoot and plan looks and locations to match.
Often yes. Drone rules vary by island and resort; we check Muli's current permissions before your session and, where flying isn't possible, plan aerials from a nearby sandbank.
