on Kelaa
Professional photography on Kelaa, Haa Alifu Atoll: honeymoon and couples sessions, proposals, families and drone aerials, photographed by locals who know the island's best light.

About Kelaa
Kelaa is one of the northernmost inhabited islands of the Maldives, in Haa Alifu Atoll about 310 km from Malé, with around 1,100 people and a handful of guesthouses. It is a large, lush island by Maldivian standards, with a long white beach, a prominent sandbank and dense vegetation that includes old-growth trees and farmland; it also served as a British base during the Second World War, and traces remain. Reached by flight to Hanimaadhoo and a speedboat, it offers northern seclusion with real beach quality.

It depends on the beach: swimwear is only allowed on designated tourist beaches on inhabited islands. We confirm Kelaa's rules before your shoot and plan looks and locations to match.
Often yes. Drone rules vary by island and resort; we check Kelaa's current permissions before your session and, where flying isn't possible, plan aerials from a nearby sandbank.
