Drone & Aerial on Praslin: quick answers
Yes, with permissions. Drone flights require approval and local consent, and rules differ by island and resort. Our pilots are licensed and we arrange the permissions for your location in advance.
A sandbank. The classic Maldives aerial is two people on a bare white sandbank surrounded by turquoise. We take you there by boat from your island or resort, usually a 10–20 minute ride.
We travel to Praslin by ferry or light aircraft and arrive before your session. Tell us where you are staying and we will meet you there. If you are already staying on Praslin, we meet you at your hotel or at the beach.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Praslin session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
