About Denis Island
Denis Island is a small coralline island on the northern edge of the Seychelles plateau, privately run around a single lodge, with the drop-off into deep water close enough offshore to make it a long-standing big-game fishing base. Like Bird Island it is flat, wooded and ringed by sand, with no granite anywhere.
Shooting on Denis Island
We travel to Denis Island by ferry or light aircraft and arrive before your session. Tell us where you are staying and we will meet you there.
Late afternoon into sunset is when Denis Island's granite and water look their best. Every session is scheduled around it.

Practical notes for Denis Island
Denis is reached by light aircraft from Mahé and is privately managed, so any session is arranged through the island rather than independently.
Hawksbill and green turtles nest on the beaches. Nesting sites are marked and are not approached at night without the island's conservation team.

We travel to Denis Island by ferry or light aircraft and arrive before your session. Tell us where you are staying and we will meet you there. If you are already staying on Denis Island, we meet you at your hotel or at the beach.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Denis Island session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
Public beaches in Seychelles are open to everyone and need no permit. Nature reserves and private islands charge an entry or filming fee, which we check before your date.
Drone use in Seychelles needs clearance near the airport and over some reserves. We check the rules for Denis Island before your date and plan aerials around them.
