on Ukulhas
Travelling solo or want portraits that aren't selfies? A relaxed one-on-one session around your island, from the jetty to the beach and the palms, in golden light. Photographed on Ukulhas, Alifu Alifu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Ukulhas is a slender island in Alif Alif Atoll, about 1,025 metres long and 225 wide and home to roughly 1,000 people, that has become the Maldives' best-known example of a community-run eco island.
Planning a portrait photoshoot on Ukulhas? The island sits about 72 km from Malé in Alifu Alifu Atoll, roughly 90 minutes by speedboat. It has a designated bikini beach, so swimwear frames are possible on the tourist stretch. The calmest seas and clearest skies typically run Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Nov, Dec. Tell us your dates and we'll schedule your portrait photoshoot around Ukulhas's golden hour.
