Family & Group
on Mahibadhoo
Candid-first sessions that work with kids, grandparents, and friend groups. We shoot loose and playful, then gather the classic all-together frames. Photographed on Mahibadhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Mahibadhoo is the administrative capital of South Ari (Alif Dhaal) Atoll, a densely built island of about 2,600 people on 0.18 km², roughly 76 km from Malé.

Family & Group on Mahibadhoo: quick answers
We shoot loose and playful first (running, splashing, building sand) and gather the classic all-together frames when everyone is warmed up. Sessions are paced around the kids, not a shot list.
Early morning is often best with small children: softer light, cooler air and empty beaches. Late afternoon golden hour works well for older kids and groups.
We arrange boat or domestic transfer, or pair you with a Coora photographer already in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll. If you're already staying on Mahibadhoo, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Mahibadhoo session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
