Drone & Aerial
on Mahibadhoo
The signature Maldives shot: you two on a white sandbank in the middle of turquoise. Flown by licensed pilots, composed from the sky. Photographed on Mahibadhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Mahibadhoo is the administrative capital of South Ari (Alif Dhaal) Atoll, a densely built island of about 2,600 people on 0.18 km², roughly 76 km from Malé.

Drone & Aerial on Mahibadhoo: quick answers
Yes, with permissions. Drone flights require approval and local consent, and rules differ by island and resort. Our pilots are licensed and we arrange the permissions for your location in advance.
A sandbank. The classic Maldives aerial is two people on a bare white sandbank surrounded by turquoise. We take you there by boat from your island or resort, usually a 10–20 minute ride.
We arrange boat or domestic transfer, or pair you with a Coora photographer already in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll. If you're already staying on Mahibadhoo, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Mahibadhoo session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
