Family & Group
on Kulhudhuffushi
Candid-first sessions that work with kids, grandparents, and friend groups. We shoot loose and playful, then gather the classic all-together frames. Photographed on Kulhudhuffushi, Haa Dhaalu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Kulhudhuffushi is the commercial capital of the north, a city of about 10,000 people on 3 km² in Haa Dhaalu Atoll, roughly 275 km from Malé, with its own domestic airport opened in 2018 on reclaimed land at the island's edge.

Family & Group on Kulhudhuffushi: quick answers
We shoot loose and playful first (running, splashing, building sand) and gather the classic all-together frames when everyone is warmed up. Sessions are paced around the kids, not a shot list.
Early morning is often best with small children: softer light, cooler air and empty beaches. Late afternoon golden hour works well for older kids and groups.
We arrange boat or domestic transfer, or pair you with a Coora photographer already in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. If you're already staying on Kulhudhuffushi, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Kulhudhuffushi session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
