Family & Group
on Kihaadhoo
Candid-first sessions that work with kids, grandparents, and friend groups. We shoot loose and playful, then gather the classic all-together frames. Photographed on Kihaadhoo, Baa Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Kihaadhoo is one of the smallest village islands in Baa Atoll, with around 480 people on 0.27 km², roughly 123 km from Malé and a short boat ride from Dharavandhoo airport.
Planning a family photoshoot on Kihaadhoo? The island sits about 123 km from Malé in Baa Atoll. It has a designated bikini beach, so swimwear frames are possible on the tourist stretch. Tell us your dates and we'll schedule your family photoshoot around Kihaadhoo's golden hour.

Family & Group on Kihaadhoo: quick answers
We shoot loose and playful first (running, splashing, building sand) and gather the classic all-together frames when everyone is warmed up. Sessions are paced around the kids, not a shot list.
Early morning is often best with small children: softer light, cooler air and empty beaches. Late afternoon golden hour works well for older kids and groups.
We arrange boat or domestic transfer, or pair you with a Coora photographer already in Baa Atoll. If you're already staying on Kihaadhoo, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Kihaadhoo session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
