Family & Group
on Kaashidhoo
Candid-first sessions that work with kids, grandparents, and friend groups. We shoot loose and playful, then gather the classic all-together frames. Photographed on Kaashidhoo, Kaafu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Kaashidhoo is the odd one out in Kaafu Atoll: a large, green farming island standing alone in the Kaashidhoo Channel about 86 km north of Malé, with around 2,500 residents.

Family & Group on Kaashidhoo: quick answers
We shoot loose and playful first (running, splashing, building sand) and gather the classic all-together frames when everyone is warmed up. Sessions are paced around the kids, not a shot list.
Early morning is often best with small children: softer light, cooler air and empty beaches. Late afternoon golden hour works well for older kids and groups.
Speedboat from Malé in 150 minutes. If you're already staying on Kaashidhoo, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Kaashidhoo session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
