Drone & Aerial
on Guraidhoo
The signature Maldives shot: you two on a white sandbank in the middle of turquoise. Flown by licensed pilots, composed from the sky. Photographed on Guraidhoo, Kaafu Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Guraidhoo sits on the eastern rim of South Male Atoll, about 35 km from Male, a fishing-village island of around 1,700 people with a long history of hosting travellers.

Drone & Aerial on Guraidhoo: quick answers
Yes, with permissions. Drone flights require approval and local consent, and rules differ by island and resort. Our pilots are licensed and we arrange the permissions for your location in advance.
A sandbank. The classic Maldives aerial is two people on a bare white sandbank surrounded by turquoise. We take you there by boat from your island or resort, usually a 10–20 minute ride.
Speedboat from Malé in 45 minutes (~$30), or the public ferry (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun, 90 min). If you're already staying on Guraidhoo, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Guraidhoo session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
