Solo / Portrait
on Fuvahmulah
Travelling solo or want portraits that aren't selfies? A relaxed one-on-one session around your island, from the jetty to the beach and the palms, in golden light. Photographed on Fuvahmulah, Gnaviyani Atoll, by locals who know the island's best light.

Fuvahmulah is unlike any other island in the Maldives: a single-island atoll of about 14,000 people and nearly 5 km², roughly 494 km south of Malé, with no lagoon, two freshwater lakes, wetland taro fields and a coastline that drops straight into the deep ocean.
Planning a portrait photoshoot on Fuvahmulah? The island sits about 494 km from Malé in Gnaviyani Atoll. There is no designated bikini beach, so we plan modest-dress looks and use sandbanks or boats for swimwear frames. Tell us your dates and we'll schedule your portrait photoshoot around Fuvahmulah's golden hour.

Solo / Portrait on Fuvahmulah: quick answers
Not at all. It's a relaxed one-on-one walk around your island with guided posing. Most solo guests say it was the most fun hour of the trip, and it beats tripod selfies.
Yes. Tell us the look and formats you need (vertical crops, product in frame, multiple outfits) and we'll plan the session and delivery around it.
We arrange boat or domestic transfer, or pair you with a Coora photographer already in Gnaviyani Atoll. If you're already staying on Fuvahmulah, we meet you there; we photograph guests on their own island.
Golden hour: roughly the last 60–90 minutes before sunset, and the first hour after sunrise. We schedule every Fuvahmulah session around it and move between jetty, beach and palm lines as the light changes.
