Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue is the most photographed beach in the Seychelles and probably in the Indian Ocean: a chain of small coves where enormous weathered granite boulders stand in shallow, pale turquoise water. An offshore reef keeps it almost flat, so the water rarely moves.

- Access and hours: Entry is through L'Union Estate, which charges admission and closes in the late afternoon, so a sunset session is not possible from the main entrance.
