# Resort Photographer at SAii Lagoon / Hard Rock

SAii Lagoon Maldives and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives share the Emboodhoo Lagoon development in South Malé Atoll, about 15 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. We come to you by boat from our base. The two resorts flank The Marina at CROSSROADS, a pedestrian waterfront of restaurants and shops, and both offer beach rooms and overwater villas on a broad lagoon. It is the most urban, lifestyle-led setting in the Maldives, and a good fit for families, groups, and couples who want variety beyond the beach.

## Photo spots

- Overwater villa deck: Decks over a pale lagoon for classic couple frames at golden hour.
- Marina promenade: Boardwalks and boats give a lifestyle, street-style backdrop unusual in the Maldives.
- Lagoon beach: Wide, shallow sandy lagoon for family and walking shots.
- Sunset over the lagoon: Open western horizons from the beach and walkways.

## Practical

- Photography and drone permissions: Resorts set their own photographer and drone policies. We clear access with the resort before your session, and where drones are not permitted on the island we shoot aerials from a nearby sandbank by boat.
- Transfer and timing: A short boat ride from Malé, so sunrise or sunset sessions are easy, and we can combine both resorts and the marina in one shoot.

## Photoshoot at *SAii Lagoon / Hard Rock*: FAQ

**Do you come to SAii Lagoon / Hard Rock?**
